This a big subject and I felt i needed to dedicate a post to it i found this article by HSLDA

I agree with this article totally but those of you that know me well know that I don't get out often the only time i get out is on.....

Sunday= Mass

Thursday= Chiropractor,Adoration,Library,Grocery Shopping

Friday= Family Apostate

Saturday=Confession

and we do go over to our neighbors twice a week in the afternoon.

This is for the Summer,since we do school all year round. We work that in along with doctors appointments and community service .

If you do notice there is no: Homeschool groups or Church groups  

Well  the number one cause why we do not do any of that stuff is MONEY! 

Yes you do have to live with money it is a necessity sad to say. Two Gas prices.

Three we do not have the same interests as other children do.

Oh I forgot I do sewing classes during the public school year at 3:30 on thursdays

Q5 how long have you been homeschooled?                   

A depending on the person    for us 7 years.

Q6 do you get to sleep in?       

A  sometimes    lately we have been up by 7:00am

Q7 what is your favorite subject? 

A   Depending on the person   Mine is History 

Q8 what curriculum do you use?

A   Various

Math= Video Text or Math U See

History= Trisims     

Spanish=Rosetta Stone

English= One Year Adventure Novel

Religion=Seton and Various Books

Homeschooling Blog Post 1# Most asked questions

I will be doing a series of blog posts on homeschooling

Whenever we talk to people they ask questions like these  

The first one often is....

Q1. How old are you?           A. depending on the person.

or

Q2.What grade are you in      A.umm........ oh yeah i think i am a freshmen maybe i am not sure to be exact

Homeshoolers do not have grades they could be at different levels for different subjects for example I am at 8th grade level for Math, 11th or 12th for Vocabulary and 9th for Writing

Sometimes they ask....

3.Where do you go to school  

A. I am homeschooled

or

A. Holy Family Academy

That is the name of our homeschool since in texas we are considered a private school.

4.Do you like being homeshooled?  A. it depends on the person for me yes I love it!

From there they have options

1. ask more questions if they are interested or

2. they shut up

3. Be rude and call you bad names

Siblings?

What is my opinion on Siblings?

I LOVE MY SIBLINGS!

I come from a family of  3 children (blood related) Margery 12 and Veronica 8 and i am the oldest .

I also have 4 adopted siblings (not legally but i consider them my siblings)

Alissa 8,Breena 6,Jake 3 and Jason 2

                                        Left to Right Margery,Alissa,Breena,Me and Veronica

 Alissa and Breena are my first two adopted siblings

     Alissa is Sensitive loves horses and singing

Breena is no secret  keeper loves Hello Kitty and  being a Princess

They lived with us for 5 months and moved away sadly we do not se them often but still pray for them

Jake and Jason are the two other adopted siblings they live nextdoor and we see them almost every week

Margery and Veronica live with me unlike the other four

Margery is the hairdresser in the family and loves studing about Indians

Veronica is the Comedian and loves studing about Dogs

Margery and Veronica are like two peas in a pod they do everything together unlike me the loner

Yes i do fight with my siblings but do make up fairly quick.
